A framed vintage of “Southern Belle” by Erich Correns ( 1821 - 1877) Munich, German München.
Correns developed the art of portrait lithographs and was an original oil painter.
Southern Belle depicts the pre Victorian coloratura soprano Jenny Lind, posing before red velvet curtain.
Johanna Maria "Jenny" Lind (6 October 1820 – 2 November 1887) was a Swedish opera singer, often called the "Swedish Nightingale". One of the most highly regarded singers of the 19th century, she performed in soprano roles in opera in Sweden and across Europe.
